zoey's hospital visit
So we've had a crazy week! Thursday the the 2nd i noticed zoey was starting to get a runny nose and a slight cough, she had no fever though so i wasn't worried. Saturday night she was getting cranky at bed time and wouldn't go to sleep she was coughing alot more and was crying ever couple hours like she was hurting. around 3ish on sunday i noticed her breathing was really fast and she was panting really hard. when i changed her diaper that morning it was like she was gasping for air and her whole stomach would cave in every time she breathed. so we decided to take her in to the insta care. i had been sick all night and throwing up so i not feeling to grand either. anyways when we got to the insta care i told them what was going on and asked how long the wait was and they said about an hour. i was like oh great i can't sit here for an hour and not throw up and zoey was not very happy about being there. like 2 minutes later they called us back and said they were just going to evaluate her then send us back to the waiting room. the nurse hooked zoey up and after about 5 minutes she said "um....i need to go get something" and left when she came back she had an oxygen tank and mask, zoey's oxygen was down to like 83-85 which is not good so after some beuterall (sp ??) for about an hour or so she still couldn't keep her oxygen above 90 with out help so they decided to send us to primary childrens. since she needed to be on oxygen we got to ride in an ambulance over there. zoey had fun but it was not the best experience i've ever had. so after we got checked into the er they kept doing breathing treatments and sucked out her nose to get her oxygen up. we ended up staying in the icu sunday night. they said she had Bronclitius and after a while narrowed it down to rhion virus which is a very mild respiratory virus so thats good!monday morning they took her off oxygen to see how she would hold her levels on her own and she did really good so that afternoon they sent us down to the regular baby unit. she improved alot really quick so they let us out on tuesday morning!! she's doing much better now but dr lei has her on a nebulizer for a few days.

We are so glad she is home and well. I am glad I haven't had to do anything like that with my kids.
Gosh, that poor thing. SO glad that she's doing better. And congratulations on Shelby! When I first saw her picture I thought she looked just like your husband, but then I look at more and I think, "Nah, she looks just like Becca!" Enjoy her!
